The Food Security Safeguard Program (FSSP)

Are you currently experiencing food insecurity, or have you in the past?  

The Food Security Safeguard Program (FSSP) in partnership with Student Case Management and Intervention Services (SCMIS) is designed to assist any Emory undergraduate or graduate student with an immediate food security need on the Atlanta campus. 

Simply click on the link below and after filling out a few pieces of information you will receive three meal swipes for the Dobbs Common Table (the DCT) to your Emory ID card for immediate use. 

If you attempt to sign up for a second time in a semester Student Case Management and Intervention Services (SCMIS) will be informed to allow a case manager to reach out and assist with identifying opportunities for long term support prior to additional meal swipes being granted.

 FSSP requests

This program is designed to assist any Emory undergraduate or graduate student with an immediate food security need on the Atlanta campus.

Go to FSSP request. You will be asked to first enter your Emory username and password followed by your ID number. Then follow the instructions to immediately add meals to your EmoryCard.

Three meal swipes. Meal swipes are valid for access to our all you care to eat facility, the Dobbs Common Table. Meals are valid for the current academic year.

The meals will be added directly to your account for immediate use. You will tap your Emory ID card at the Dobbs Common Table.

For LGS students, a Student Affairs team member will reach out to schedule a meeting with you before adding the additional 12 meal swipes, totaling 15 free swipes per term, to address food insecurities.
