USEFULL reusable takeout

Wondering what those blue-lidded stainless steel containers are doing around campus? USEFULL is Emory’s reusable takeout program, currently available at Dobb’s Common Table.
The plastic-free USEFULL containers are made from recycled stainless steel with silicone lids, and you can check them out to take your meal to go.
Here’s how it works:
- First, download the app to get started. USEFULL is available on the App Store and Google You can set up your account using your Emory log-in. Now you’re ready to check out a container!
- To check out a USEFULL container, simply request one from a cashier at the front of the dining hall.
- Then, scan the QR code on the bottom of your cup or bowl using the USEFULL app to complete the You’ll see a green success screen when the container has been successfully assigned to your account.
- Enjoy your takeout meal! You’ll have 2 days before you need to return the The app will give you reminders to return your container on time. (The program is free, but if you’re late on a return, there will be a $1 a day late fee on your account).
- To return, find the return station outside Dobb’s Common Table. Scan your container back in using the tablet near the station, and then deposit the container to complete the
