The market takes place this summer on Tuesdays, 6/11, 6/25, 7/9, 7/23 at 11am-2pm on McDonough Plaza.

The Emory Farmers Market features fresh, seasonal local produce; artisanal bread; honey; other artisan products and baked goods; fair trade and organic coffee options; and diverse lunch options. In addition to providing delicious and convenient food choices to the Emory community, the market encourages us all to interact with Georgia farmers and small business owners, to expand our knowledge about healthy eating and sustainable production and to establish a relationship with the people who grow our food—an essential component of a healthy, local food system. The Market is co-managed by the  Office of Sustainable Initiative s and Emory Dining with support of a sub-committee composed of students, faculty and staff.

Market Vision: A lively campus community hub of flourishing locally-owned, food-based businesses providing daily and weekly food provisioning for students, faculty, and staff.  A forum in which producers and consumers share knowledge and make informed and healthy dietary choices toward a more sustainable food system.

Market Mission: Through a weekly gathering of farmers, chefs, small-scale artisanal businesses, and Emory customers, the Emory Farmers Market fosters educational opportunities and personal  relationships through food that support economic, social, and environmental sustainability.
